KIRSI
ENKOVAARA
Enkovaara’s practice examines human presence within the built environment and the cultural norms tied to our societies objects. She explores the intersection of the immaterial and material, as well as the relationship between manmade and natural elements. Her narratives emerge through material connections, with each piece shaped by interaction—both in its creation and its experience.
Kirsi Enkovaara (b.1983) graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 2014 and her studio is currently based in Helsinki, Finland. She has exhibited extensively through Europe, exhibiting in Helsinki Design Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and Somerset House.
